The LearnUp Initiative
Building Brighter Futures, One Safe Space at a Time
The Safe Spaces for School Children Initiative by The Ike Odoeme Foundation (TIOF) is dedicated to transforming the educational landscape in Nigeria. This initiative was born out of the tragic 2024 school collapse in Jos, Nigeria, which highlighted the urgent need to address the appalling state of school infrastructure and management across the country. Our mission is to ensure that every child has access to a safe, supportive, and conducive learning environment, free from the dangers posed by inadequate facilities.

Sponsorships for Students
Supporting underprivileged students to attend school without the financial burden of tuition and other fees.
Educational Resources
Providing books, uniforms, writing materials, and digital learning tools to ensure students have what they need to succeed.
Advocacy for Change
Collaborating with communities, educators, and policymakers to address systemic challenges in Nigeria’s educational sector.
Impact Over the Years
Since its inception, LearnUp has reached hundreds of students across rural and urban areas, ensuring they stay in school and thrive academically. This initiative has received recognition from educational boards and media outlets for its transformative impact.
